These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Quick English's Website, located at https://quickenglish.org. Quick English and quickenglish.org are owned by Simon Haigh.
By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use quickenglish.org if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
Free chat:
From time-to-time I offer a chance to request a Free Chat with me to people who are interested in having English speaking or writing lessons with me. The Free Chat is an opportunity for me to find out a potential student's English level and what he/she/they wishes to learn and to see how I can help. I will also give you some suggestions on how to improve. Having a Free Chat with me does not mean you have to have my classes. It's really free! Please note that this is a "request" for a Free Chat and I cannot guarantee to provide this service to everyone who requests it. If demand for the Free Chat is very high then I may not be able to satisfy all requests. Whether I agree to a Free Chat request also depends on a potential student's suitability for my lessons and whether it is possible to find a date and time for it that suits the potential student and me. Please provide all relevant information when completing the Free Chat request form. I will do my best to provide this service to all suitable potential students. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
The maximum time for the Free Chat is 15 minutes. It may be shorter if I believe it has already fulfilled its intended purpose.
All Free Chats will take place on Teams on a link which I will email to the student.
Having a Free Chat with me does not guarantee that I will be able to give you my English lessons or oblige the student to have them. It is a chance for both the student and me to help decide if lessons with me will be possible, the content of the lessons and the time/dates for the lessons.
If I am unable to offer any more Free Chats I will update this website as soon as I can to reflect this.
My English lessons
If I agree to provide English lessons to a student. I will email a Learning Agreement to the student. This will show an outline of what I will teach to the student, which will be based on our conversation in the Free Chat. The Learning Agreement will also state the date and times of the agreed lessons and the total cost.
The cost of my lessons is as stated on the Details page of this website. All payments must be made via PayPal and Stripe. The cost is the amount of amount of money in British Pounds Sterling (£) that must reach my account after the student has paid any currency conversion or other transaction fees which the student is liable for when using these payment sites.
Services other than English speaking and writing lessons:
I only offer English speaking and essay writing lessons. I will not agree to any request to complete or help complete a learner's English language or other assignments for any course of study or piece of work from their job that they are undertaking. My lessons are intended to provide you with the skills to do these things yourself.

Unless otherwise stated, Quick English and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on quickenglish.org. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from quickenglish.org for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.
